InnovaKnits and Manufacturing Solutions Center Announce New-Flat Bed Knitting Development Initiative

InnovaKnits has partnered with the Manufacturing Solutions Center (MSC), part of Catawba Valley Community College, to launch a new initiative expanding access to advanced flat-bed knitting manufacturing resources.

The collaboration introduces a flat-bed knitting development workspace, available for weekly or monthly rental, providing flexible access to industry-grade equipment for companies, startups, students, and experienced professionals.

Workspace Capabilities:

• Stoll knitting machines
• M1 Plus programming stations
• Yarn inventory for sampling
• Linking, sewing, and finishing equipment
• Access to MSC testing capabilities

Applications:

• Prototyping and product development
• Confidential testing and iteration
• Evaluation of new flat knitting processes and applications

 

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening U.S. manufacturing by improving access to advanced textile manufacturing infrastructure.
