Thread-X Augumented Reality Training For Textiles
The Manufacturing Solutions Center, along with our technical partner Analog Digital Systems, has created the Thread-X training platform using Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence to support textile industry training and equipment troubleshooting.
The Thread-X platform provides:
- Accelerated Onboarding for new employees and Ongoing Training for your workforce
- Equipment Operations, including machinery setup and changeovers and troubleshooting for common equipment issues
- Access through multiple devices, from VR headsets to mobile phones
- A platform which can be expanded to broad types of equipment

Thread-X Updates
May-July 2025 – We are completing uploads of information to use for training the workforce on Lonati 616 knitting machines.
August – September – Start Beta testing onsite with MSC clients, adjusting the platform for larger scale rollout.
Fall 2025 – Identify additional textile equipment for the Thread-X Training Platform! Check back on a regular basis for more updates!
